Product Application
In terms of the properties of TPV Pellets, it has applications in the following areas:
• Seals (building/automotive seals, gaskets)
• Soft touch (handle, grip)
• Impact and shock resistance; flexibility (casters, buffer blocks; wire and cable, hoses)
• Plastic modification to improve the toughness of the material as well as the degree of impact resistance.
The properties of thermoplastic vulcanized rubber differentiate it from general thermoplastic elastomers in that its applications are more oriented towards industrial products:
• In terms of high temperature resistance, conventional fully vulcanized PP/EPDM can reach 135, and the engineering thermoplastic vulcanized rubber introduced by DuPont can withstand more than 150.
• In terms of solvent and oil resistance, TPV Pellets are usually more resistant to solvents and oils because it has a cross-linked rubber particle phase.
