Modified PP

• Chemical modification
Modification at the propylene monomer synthesis stage by adding catalysts such as metallocenes results in changes in the internal intermolecular structure, which in turn enhances certain aspects of the material's properties, such as heat resistance, impact resistance, etc.
• Physical modification
a. Adding minerals to enhance toughening.
b. Add glass fiber to increase strength and resistance to deformation.

• Transparent modification
a. PP with transparency by metallocene catalyst polymerization.
b. Transparent PP obtained by random copolymerization.
c. Transparency modifiers (mainly nucleating agents) are added to ordinary polypropylene to improve its transparency.
