Insoluble in water, slightly soluble in hydrocarbons, etc. Low Density Polyethylene is resistant to most acids and bases, has little water absorption, remains soft at low temperatures, and has high electrical insulation properties.
 
Production process: there are mainly high-pressure tubular method and kettle method two. In order to reduce the reaction temperature and pressure, the tubular method process generally uses a low-temperature, high-activity initiator-initiated polymerization system, with high-purity ethylene as the main raw material, propylene, propane and other density adjusters, the use of high-activity initiator in about 200 ℃ ~ 330 ℃, 150 ~ 300 MPa conditions for polymerization reaction. The molten polymer in the reactor that initiates polymerization must be cooled and separated by high pressure, medium pressure and low pressure. The high pressure circulating gas is cooled and separated and sent to the ultra-high pressure (300 MPa) compressor inlet, the medium pressure circulating gas is cooled and separated and sent to the high pressure (30 MPa) compressor inlet, while the low pressure circulating gas is cooled and separated and sent to the low pressure (0.5 MPa) compressor cycle The molten polyethylene is sent to the granulator after high pressure and low pressure separation, and is cut into pellets in water, and during granulation, the company can add suitable additives according to different application fields, and the pellets are packaged and shipped.

 

Use: Low Density Polyethylene can be processed by injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, etc. Mainly used as agricultural film, industrial packaging film, pharmaceutical and food packaging film, mechanical parts, daily necessities, construction materials, wire and cable insulation, coating and synthetic paper, etc.
