Properties of Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (HNBR)
• Hydrogenated Nitrile HNBR Rubber can be used for a long time in the working environment of -40-180 degrees, with good processing performance, high strength, excellent abrasion resistance, small permanent deformation, as well as unique resistance to ozone and hydrogen sulfide.
• Hydrogenated NBR is saturated with hydrogenation but still maintains the properties of the original NBR. High strength due to tensile crystallinity.
• Hydrogenated Nitrile HNBR Rubber has good resistance to heat and ozone, weathering and chemical acids and alkalis.
• Good resistance to swelling of technical fluids (including oils with corrosive additives).
• Good mechanical properties, maintaining a comparable level even under temperature rise conditions.
• Significant wear resistance under extremely harmful conditions.
• The tensile strength of vulcanized rubber is higher than that of NBR and neoprene, which is close to higher than that of carboxylated NBR.
• Excellent resistance to acid (hydrogen sulfide) environments and to amine/oil mixtures, as well as to oxidized fuels and lubricants.
• The glass transition temperature Tg varies with the degree of hydrogenation between -15 and -40°C and the brittleness temperature -50°C.
