Dawn TPO is a low odor, low VOC-emitting, and low-fogging material, which makes it an eco-friendly alternative to traditional materials. Moreover, it provides exceptional weatherable resistance, ensuring long service periods for exterior parts. Dawn TPO for vacuum-molded skin is less labor-intensive, less energy-intensive, and more efficient in the manufacturing process; and is more efficient in the skin molding process than PVC pultruded skins. Currently, we offer three grades of TPO for vacuum-molded skins(D-85A, D-60A, D-90A)and have successfully cooperated with BYD, GEELY, GAC, TOYOTA, CHANGAN and TESLA.
D-60A, is a premium TPO, specifically designed for In-Mold Grained (IMG) and Out-Mold Grained (OMG) skin applications. It is a game-changer in the automotive interior and exterior parts manufacturing industry, providing exceptional surface quality and eliminating surface defects.
D-60A combines the advantages of thermoplastics and polyurethanes and has a unique formulation that enables it to avoid weakening the skin during the molding process. This avoids surface defects that can occur in the aging test or long term-service, a common issue with traditional materials.
D-60A's unique formulation and excellent performance properties make it a highly desirable material for vehicle interiors and exteriors. Its low weight reduces fuel consumption and allows for easier handling of parts during assembly. Additionally, it offers much lower labor and energy consumption, resulting in higher efficiency and lower production costs.
