BOPP Film Properties, Categories and Applications

BOPP film has the advantages of high transparency, good gloss, good barrier, high impact strength and low temperature resistance. The disadvantage is that the film is prone to shrinkage when it is heat-sealed (except for heat-shrinkable cigarette film, which uses its heat-shrink performance). BOPP film also has excellent printing effect. The representative physical properties are: turbidity <1.5%; gloss >85%; tensile strength (longitudinal/transverse) >120/200MPa; elongation at break (longitudinal/transverse) <180%/65%; modulus of elasticity 1700-2500Mpa; embrittlement temperature -50℃.

General film: generally used in printing, lamination, coating (adhesive tape, PVDC coating, etc.) field;
Heat sealing film: cigarette packaging, general packaging and pearlescent film packaging (mainly used for frozen food, candy packaging);
Metallized films: suitable for vacuum aluminizing;
Capacitor-type film: used for manufacturing capacitors and metal film capacitors;
Specialized films: such as for shopping bags, mail bags, inkjet printing, and label films, pull wire films, etc.
