The mainstream production process of bottle grade PET is direct esterification, which is mainly divided into two stages: CP (esterification and condensation) and SSP (solid phase condensation and adhesion) : PTA and MEG, as well as the third monomer IPA (phthalic acid), toner and heat stabilizer, undergo continuous esterification reaction and continuous polycondensation reaction in liquid phase to generate bottle-grade basic sections, and then undergo solid phase polycondensation reaction under heating state to increase viscosity to generate bottle-grade sections with higher crystallinity
