Physical Properties

LLDPE plastic pellets are characterized by their high strength, toughness, and rigidity. They also provide excellent resistance to environmental stress cracking and tearing, along with superior thermal stability in both high and low temperatures.

Processing Properties

LLDPE has a melting point of 10–20°C higher than LDPE of the same density, offering greater rigidity and elongation. It also features faster stress relaxation and shorter molding cycles. Unlike LDPE, LLDPE's melt strength and viscosity are less sensitive to shear rate and temperature, ensuring consistent processing performance.

Tips for Enhancing LLDPE Performance

Blending with LDPE

Adding LDPE to LLDPE improves processability, enhances film gloss and transparency (reducing haze), reduces energy consumption during processing, and increases tensile strength and elongation at break. This blend also allows for a 20–50% reduction in film thickness.

Blending with HDPE

Incorporating HDPE into LLDPE increases the film's rigidity, tensile strength, density, and barrier properties. It also improves processing performance and film flatness.
