PCTG is a transparent plastic material, an amorphous copolyester with good viscosity, transparency, color, chemical resistance, and resistance to stress bleaching. It can be quickly thermoformed or extruded blow molded. Its products are highly transparent, have excellent impact resistance, especially suitable for forming thick wall transparent products, its processing and molding performance is excellent, can use traditional extrusion, injection molding, blow molding, and blister molding methods, and can be widely used in sheet metal, high-performance shrink film, bottle and profile, cosmetic packaging and other markets, while the second processing performance is excellent. Conventional machining modifications are possible.

PCTG material is a copolymer that combines the properties of PETG with additional durability and clarity. The inclusion of cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM) during polymerization enhances its performance, making it more impact-resistant and chemically stable than standard PETG. This makes PCTG material a preferred choice for applications requiring high transparency, strength, and resistance to harsh environments.

Currently, there are several grades of Dawn PCTG material available on the market, including HF500, HF503M, HF503, and HF503C.
