What is PBAT
PBAT, chemically known as poly(adipic acid terephthalic acid butylene glycol), is a semi-crystalline aliphatic-aromatic copolyester. Presented as milky white or yellowish white odorless particles, it is synthesized through the direct condensation copolymerization of adipic acid, terephthalic acid, and butylene glycol. Boasting a melting point of 110–120°C and a density of 1.26g/cm³, PBAT offers exceptional physical properties:
