Hydrogenated Nitrile HNBR has obtained very good heat resistance (150℃ high temperature resistance) and ozone resistance while keeping the original excellent oil resistance of NBR, and its application field has broken through the traditional field of NBR, so that special rubbers such as chlorinated polyethylene and chlorosulfonated polyethylene have been affected to some extent. From the economic point of view, the sales price of HNBR is still more expensive for the time being, but it is still much lower than fluorine rubber. At the same time, because HNBR has low stiffness, good process performance, low density, more fillers can be added, and the unit volume of HNBR products is only half of fluorine rubber, so it will become a substitute for special elastomers such as fluorine rubber. Although HNBR has been produced abroad for many years and its application field is expanding, but it is still blank in China, we should lose no time to develop HNBR. The use cycle can be more than one year if the spindle is made of HNBR. In the manufacture of Hydrogenated Nitrile HNBR, the catalytic hydrogenation technology of NBR is the key. The technical conditions of solution hydrogenated NBR production are harsh, and the cost is relatively high due to the low recovery of rhodium. The research of water-soluble two-phase catalyst hydrogenation and hydroformylation is precisely focused on the separation and recovery and recycling of precious metal catalysts, once we can make the application of such catalysts extend to the hydrogenation of macromolecules, we can use them for the hydrogenation of NBR, we have synthesized two water-soluble phosphine ligands and are trying to do this.
